17-year-old Audra is a WindWalker, sylph or air elemental. She is 17-year-old Vane's guardian. She helped save him from the tornado that killed his parents and she is keeping him from dating, touching or kissing a girl. Vane's mind was wiped and his heritage hidden from him. Vane is the last Westerly and extremely important to the sylphs. The relationship between Audra and Vane was really interesting. Vane is a very reluctant hero. I liked how this story came together, the pacing was really good. I also really liked the magical aspects too. 4 stars.
