This book starts right where the first one left off. Claire is in a hospital after her accidental suicide attempt with a feeding tube in her nose. Her family is ready to send her to rehab or have her institutionalized. Claire only wants Emmett. Claire has to decide on her own to get better and to heal. She can't be forced to change. She sees her body as it really is. The body dysmorphia is gone. Claire is reborn. Her family doesn't understand her. Emmett understands and he loves her no matter what. Claire's journey is difficult. This is a heavy subject and the writing describes it without flinching. This story is so emotional and yet amazing. It brought tears to my eyes. 5 stars.
